  • Which version of Sitecore? – Mark Cassidy Mar 19 at 15:49
  • Sitecore version 8.2. – Pushpendra Vats Mar 19 at 16:05
  • Can’t have an upper case character in index name. Make the index lower case. That’s at least part of your problem. – jrap Mar 19 at 23:59
  • See this question with my answer - sitecore.stackexchange.com/q/7956/556 – jrap Mar 20 at 0:00
  • I had converted the index name to lower case but this is had not resolved the issue. The error we are getting in SOLR server logging is as org.apache.solr.common.SolrException: Document is missing mandatory uniqueKey field: id. While in Web server error log, only index name changed to lower case, else it remains the same. – Pushpendra Vats Mar 20 at 4:46
