I've gotten help here to implement a custom My Toolbar every time a new user is created: Run powershell script when new user is created. However, although this works initially when I first log in as that user, if I log in again an hour later (possibly a lot sooner), the My Toolbar is reset back to it's initial default. There isn't any other powershell script or processor that's doing anything with registry items, so I'm at a loss as to what might be causing this to happen.

Are you sure that it isn't the exact same first processor which is overriding the first visit state? You could test this by: 1- enabling the powershell script. 2- vistit the site and make sure the toolbar is properly created. 3 - diasble the powershell script. 4 - visit the site again using the same user and see if everything is still there. – Hugo Santos Aug 8 at 10:49
