I've installed the powershell Extensions on my 9.0 update 2 and we are using Azure Ad authentication login. And now my users have some problems that they can't switch between preview und edit mode in experience editor.

and in my logfile I see this:

the file /sitecore/shell/sitecore/client/Applications/ExperienceEditor/Ribbon.aspx was not found

when the users work with local accounts everything is working fine

I know that I had to register every site in the identityProvidersPerSite

<identityProvidersPerSites>
    <mapEntry name="all" type="Sitecore.Owin.Authentication.Collections.IdentityProvidersPerSitesMapEntry, Sitecore.Owin.Authentication">
      <sites hint="list">
        <site>shell</site>
        <site>login</site>
        <site>admin</site>
        <site>service</site>
        <site>modules_shell</site>
        <site>modules_website</site>
        <site>website</site>
        <site>scheduler</site>
        <site>system</site>
        <site>publisher</site>

so my question is, is SPE defining a new "site" that I need to register here too?

  • There is a configuration file included with SPE 5.1 to add support for Identity Server. From the error message you provided I don't see any relationship with that and SPE. – Michael West Aug 29 at 15:10
