I tried to enable Azure blob storage to sitecore 9.3. I configured as per the doc(https://doc.sitecore.com/developers/93/sitecore-experience-manager/en/enable-the-azure-blob-storage-module-for-sitecore-blobs.html).

I am facing object reference error as below -

Exception: Sitecore.Framework.Data.Blobs.Abstractions.BlobProviderException
Message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I found like, when we are giving default storage provider as azure in the config - I am getting this issue

Any resolution for the same ?

  • I have enabled Azure Blob Storage to sitecore 9.3 in PaaS using the manual process, and it went without problem. Which method have you used ? It is of course very important that the azueblob setting in the connectionString points to the correct path and with the correct AccountKey, otherwise you could get the error you copied. – Olivier Michel Aug 4 '20 at 11:12
