I'm trying to use the Creative Exchange SXA export feature. When I open one the pages in Experience Editor and click on export -- I get an export failed error:

startIndex cannot be larger than length of string.

at Sitecore.Pipelines.DefaultCorePipelineManager.Run(String pipelineName, PipelineArgs args, String pipelineDomain)
   at Sitecore.XA.Feature.CreativeExchange.Jobs.Export.ExportBackgroundJob.Run(GetExportContextArgs args)

Why does this happen, and is there a fix for this?

  • Is this on all pages? – Gatogordo Jan 18 at 8:01
  • It happens when trying to export entire site as well as trying just a single page. – hontoni Jan 18 at 20:48
