We are trying to update our Azure build pipeline to run our Unit tests for our SC 8.2 instance. Our project is structured using helix and our build / publish is done using Gulp. It looks to me like the gulp build does not compile the test projects, so do we need to run an msbuild and then run a Visual Studio Test task prior to the gulp build or is there another way this can be achieved?

You need to fix your visual studio solution to make sure your test projects are built. At the end of the day, whatever task runner you choose runs msbuild at some point.– Vincent LuiOct 21, 2021 at 11:34
