In Sitecore Commerce 10, I am facing the below error when clicking on the categories in my catalogue, though I can see the products and categories in Business tool:

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Also I am facing the following error when trying to update a Data Template:

System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Sitecore.Commerce.Engine.Connect.DataProvider.Templates.CatalogTemplateGenerator.CreateComposerTemplates(Item root, Dictionary`2 templateMap) at Sitecore.Commerce.Engine.Connect.DataProvider.Templates.CatalogTemplateGenerator.BuildCatalogTemplates(Database database) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.RuntimeMethodHandle.InvokeMethod(Object target, Object[] arguments, Signature sig, Boolean constructor) at System.Reflection.RuntimeMethodInfo.UnsafeInvokeInternal(Object obj, Object[] parameters, Object[] arguments) at System.Reflection.RuntimeMethodInfo.Invoke(Object obj, BindingFlags invokeAttr, Binder binder, Object[] parameters, CultureInfo culture) at Sitecore.Reflection.ReflectionUtil.InvokeMethod(MethodInfo method, Object[] parameters, Object obj) at Sitecore.Jobs.JobRunner.RunMethod(JobArgs args) at (Object , Object ) at Sitecore.Pipelines.CorePipeline.Run(PipelineArgs args) at Sitecore.Pipelines.DefaultCorePipelineManager.Run(String pipelineName, PipelineArgs args, String pipelineDomain, Boolean failIfNotExists) at Sitecore.Pipelines.DefaultCorePipelineManager.Run(String pipelineName, PipelineArgs args, String pipelineDomain) at Sitecore.Jobs.DefaultJob.DoExecute() at Sitecore.Abstractions.BaseJob.ThreadEntry(Object state)

This was working fine earlier. Got this issue after installing Sitecore Commerce 9.3 on the same machine. I then uninstalled 9.3 and cleared all caches, and restarted IIS, but still unable to resolve the issue.

Here are the Steps that I tried to resolve:

  1. Clean Environment.
  2. Ensure\Sync default content paths.
  3. Initialize Environment.

Can anyone help me to resolve the issue?

  • Could you please check the Commerce logs? If there are any errors. Nov 1 at 8:15
