I am experiencing a BlobNotFound error when working with the FEAS component on Sitecore XM Cloud. The issue presents as an XML error message in the browser, stating, "The specified blob does not exist."

Attached are two screenshots detailing the error:

  • The first shows the XML file error in the browser with a BlobNotFound code.

  • The second is the browser console output, displaying a "Failed to load resource" message with a 404 status.

It seems like the behaviour you're experiencing has been identified in JSS versions prior to 21.6. We encountered the same issue and successfully resolved it by upgrading to JSS 21.6.3 and updating the clientside package to @0.5.17. To implement these updates in your rendering host project folder (sxastarter) and rebuild your environment, you can run the following commands:

npm i @sitecore-jss/[email protected]
npm i @sitecore-feaas/clientside@^0.5.17

Please note that these versions were applicable at the time of writing this answer, and it's advisable to consider upgrading to the latest versions.

For detailed guidance on upgrading to the latest Sitecore JSS version, you can refer to the documentation available at https://doc.sitecore.com/xp/en/developers/hd/21/sitecore-headless-development/upgrade-jss-apps-to-jss-21-6.html
