  • What .net framework are you using? – Vlad Iobagiu Jan 26 '18 at 18:26
  • 4.6.2 but i have installed 4.7 as well after getting this error – rdhaundiyal Jan 26 '18 at 18:29
  • That is a Stack Overflow exception. Check that the template you are trying to create an item from, does not have a circular base template inheritance in place. e.g. Template B inheriting from Template A which then inherits from Template B. – Mark Cassidy Jan 27 '18 at 0:21
  • @MarkCassidy - this is a fresh installation and i have not created any template. when i try to expand the tree for sample item it throws this error. – rdhaundiyal Jan 27 '18 at 3:24
  • 9.0.0 or 9.0.1? – Pete Navarra Jan 27 '18 at 13:38
