You can assign the goal to the new "page" after you create it. sitecore.stackexchange.com/questions/11943/…. You just need to remember that once you assign the goal to your modal item, that item will show up as a page view in your analytics. | |

Since in the end everything is an item, could I assign the goal to the content of the modal instead (the datasource), so if someone puts the same modal popup on multiple pages, and they triggered a close on one page, it doesn't come back? It would seem the answer is yes but I want to confirm with you. Cheers! | |
