You can have check for following things whether they are working as expected.

  1. {{IdentityServerUrl}}/.well-known/openid-configuration is returning a json and not any error. If the url is giving error, you will need to download the correct version of .NET Core Runtime. In order to install the correct version of .Net Core hosting bundle, you can navigate to the Sitecore.IdentityServer.Host.runtimeconfig.json file inside the identity server and grab the dotnet core version. Thereafter the hosting bundle can be downloaded from https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet as per the version.

  2. Check the license file is valid inside the identity server at the location {{IdentityServer}}\sitecoreruntime\license.xml.

  3. You can run the below command from the identity server and check for any errors.

dotnet Sitecore.IdentityServer.Host.dll
  1. Lastly you can look for error logs inside identity server and the website. Make sure you check the event viewer logs as well.

Hope this helps!!! Let me know in case you have any queries.
