Email Experience Manager Module Installation Issue
Can you post the full stacktrace in your question? Also it's not a good sign that you had to stop the installation, so the config file which registers the assembly with embedded razor files is probably missing: App_Config\Include\EmailExperience\Sitecore.EmailExperience.‌​UI.config

Seeing as it's after deployment of your solution, it implies that you have a custom patch file somewhere disabling xDB. Can you verify using /sitecore/admin/showconfig.aspx ?

Don't forget you can always use IgnoreDependencies using the GUI too (expand the options).

You can also edit the same file using the App Service Editor - a drag-and-drop web interface to your file system.

How to get the our local date and time from the sitecore datetime field(raw value format - yyymmddThhmmssZ)?
Made it clearer that DateTimes are stored in UTC, and that the ServerTimeZone setting only influences how the values are displayed, not stored.
