@Hishaam, yes, I do have an HttpPost, since the rendering has a form in it that submits to the same named method but with the post. When I removed that, it rendered fine.
@Mark Cassidy No, actually, that's making sure that if rendering parameters aren't set that it won't throw an error in Experience Editor. If I do it your way, the item never really gets rendered in Experience Editor, which is not what I want.
Yes, but part of the problem is that the external link validation rule is getting activated because this mailto link does not have a target. I can remove the validation rule (I have) but I find it odd that the UI creates html that is then flagged by this validation rule...
Thanks, but I'm currently dealing with an issue on our development server where changes to things made my PSE Scripts work initially but then revert, so for now I think I'll be going with a code solution...
@Gatogordo, yes, well, one of the solutions on that page showed how to implement this in PSE, so I was able to add this to a script I have that's executed when new users are created and enables that checkbox.
